Power Of Hate

After seeing all this hatred for Mooz-lums on media, I am sure that world will not take too long to make more than billion terrorists wear star with 5 corners for identification, just like some others had to wear star with 6 corners not too long ago. All those who think this can never happen in the civilized world must understand that Germany was the most educated and open-minded nation before WW2. Bosnians and Serbs lived together for centuries without any issues and they even intermarried. But then it only took one fiery speech by Milosevich to turn neighbors against neighbors resulting in ethnic cleansing of millions of Bosnians. Those who think this cannot happen in America must know that during WW2, Japanese were pushed in American concentration camps just like Jews were by Germans, and the only reason American camps were all super amazing and comfortable is because history is almost always written from the perspective of the Victorious.

Syria: Al-Assad Crossing The Red Line

Whole Muslim world is super desperate for America to do something about the “red line” being crossed in Syria. But frankly speaking, why should America wash your dirty laundry? What have you done to demand such a thing? America is not your daddy that he should come and help you whenever you Fup financially, when you cannot defend yourself, when you need to resolve your internal issues, when you hate each other and are killing without mercy, etc. Open books and learn from history! Hence, screw the red line, all those who are crossing it and all those who are behind us being in this condition i.e. me, myself and I!!!

With Perseverance, Success Is Near

An imprisoned man is taken out of his cell, all his clothes are taken off, his hands are tied and is placed on a catapult to be thrown into a huge pit of fire that has burned for days for the sole purpose of burning him alive. The fire is so hot and the flames are so high that a bird flying over it falls dead because of the heat and smoke. The scene is so dramatic that even the opponents of this man are looking concerned. There is an atmosphere of fear, and a weird silence in the air. All faces are emotionless, most because of anticipation & excitement, some out of shock, but none out of pity for the man on the catapult. With all this happening, no one can ignore the strange peace and unbreakable confidence on the face of the man ready to be thrown in the fiery pit. As the time to end his life draws near, even the angels look worried for his fate. Angel of mountains comes to him and asks permission to smash the mountains on the fire and the evil spectators. Gabriel comes down and asks permission to destroy all those who have taken side against him but all these requests and offers are denied.

Gabriel says in desperation to the man, “If you don’t allow us to serve you then at least ask the Almighty to help you in this extreme difficulty and certain death?”
To this, the naked man replies, “Gabriel! Do you think the Almighty, the creator of havens and the earth is not able to see what is going on here? Is all this out of His sight?”
Gabriel replies, “No! Nothing is invisible from Allah!”.
If Allah is all knowing and nothing is hidden from him then “Allah (Alone) is sufficient for us, and he is the best disposer of affairs”, the man replies to Gabriel with calm and confident look.
Then suddenly, orders are given and he is thrown into the fiery pit, but before he touches the burning fire, Allah orders, “O fire, become cool and peaceful upon Ibrahim.” Prophet Ibrahim lands safely in the fire without even a scratch and only the rope that was used to tie his hands burns off rendering him free. The fire burns for weeks and prophet Ibrahim stays in there until it cools off.
The story above is a great example of how Allah tests his servants and then helps them pass through the difficulties and trials by giving them guidance, knowledge and support. As Allah never puts burden on a person more than what he can handle, tests from Allah vary from person to person. Some tests are hard and some are not; some are tested with money and some with poverty. Test for some is the lust and then some are tested with their families; for some it’s health and for others it’s sickness…and so on.
It is a common perception of today’s society (even Muslims) that being rich is a blessing (it is a blessing but not always because it can be a test) and poverty and hardship is considered a curse or punishment of Allah. But in reality, both rich and the poor are being tested, one with wealth and the other with poverty. The rich is being tested with wealth because Allah knew that this test is easiest for him and same is true for the poor.
The difference between curse/punishment of Allah and the test of Allah is that in case of test, people learn lessons and improve; improve not only in their worldly matters but also in their dealings with their family, friends, neighbors, strangers, environment, and everything else. The difficulty of the test depends on the level of iman (belief) of the person hence harder tests are for the better ones, and hardest for the best. Secondly, the tests of Allah are considered blessing for the believer because these tests are a way of Allah to increase the level of iman (belief) of the believe, cleanse his/her sins, and are also an instrument to keep him/her from evil people, evil paths, evil money, and everything else that is not good for him/her for this life and the next. That’s the reason companions of prophet Muhammad s.a.w. used to become worried and concerned if not faced with a difficulty or hardship for few months. Some examples of hard test are given below and how these great servants of Allah responded and reacted when faced with difficulty.
The sickness of prophet Job (Ayub) for almost 20 years along with the grief and sadness of losing his family, his wealth, his house, and everything he held dear. But even then he said the following:
“Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy.” (Quran 21:83)
Prophet Jonah (Younus) was swallowed by the whale, his skin started to peel due to the digestive enzymes, while he was under three levels of darkness i.e. the darkness of the belly of a whale, darkness of the depths of the sea and the darkness of night but this is what he said at that time:
“There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.” (Quran 21:87)
Move from heavens to earth was extremely stressful for Adam and Eve but this was their response:
“Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.” (Quran 7:23)
When prophet Moses crossed the desert on foot without any water or food and then helped the women near the well, he was so tired and exhausted that he couldn’t stand so he fell on his knees and said, “My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!” (Quran 28:24)
When people of the cave ran (followers of Jesus) away from the persecution of the Romans and hid in the cave, this is what they said, “Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!” (Quran 18:10)
When prophet Joseph was sold in the markets of Egypt, accused of great evil and was imprisoned, these were his feeling, “The (only) Creator of the heavens and the earth! You are my Wali (Protector, Helper, Supporter, Guardian, etc.) in this world and in the Hereafter, cause me to die as a Muslim (the one submitting to Your Will), and join me with the righteous.” (Quran 12:101)
The new believers (magicians) whom Pharaoh was threatening to torture for believing in the message of Moses after witnessing the power of the God of Moses said, “Our Lord! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.”
When prophet Moses escaped from Egypt and crossed the desert on foot without any food or water, helped two women at the well and fell on his knees due to hunger and exhaustion said, “My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!” (Quran 28:24)
Muslims all over the world are going through very difficult times and that is why it is more important than ever that we learn from these great examples and face the difficulties with perseverance, patience and with full belief in the help of Allah and ultimate victory. Allah said in Quran:
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. (Quran 94:5-94:6)
Times are difficult, things are hard, future looks bleak but promise of Allah will become reality, perseverance is all that is needed and a little patience. In sh Allah!
